For both Engineering & Polytechnic Students

Technical papers of original work and creative thinking are invited from members and others who are interested in technical education on the following topics.
 
 
A. Engineer as Entrepreneur
 
B. Education vs Employment
 
C. Technical Education to meet global challenges
 
D. Knowledge Management
 
E. Industry - Institute partnership
 
F. Curriculum development for Industrial needs 
  
G. Women Engineers ( Exclusively for Girls )
 
H. Technical Education and Role of Polytechnics
 
Paper Code is A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H respectively,For example paper code for Education vs Employment is B

Rules and Regulations

  • A maximum of 2 students per team is allowed.
  • The participants must not deviate to any topic other than those listed above.
  • Presentations should be in Power point presentation. Microsoft Office 2003 / 2007.
  • For the presentation a LCD projector, a computer and a mike will be provided.
  • Each team will be allotted 5 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for question/answer.
  • Any extension in the allotted time may result in the loss of points.
  • The short listed participants who are eligible to present their paper in the final presentation will be intimated through mail and the list of finalists will also be put up on this website. The selected entries will be informed via e-mail and they would have to send replies confirming their participation.
  • The participants should bring their presentation on CD/USB drive along with 2 hard copies for the judges.
  • Participation certificate will be awarded to all the participants.
Paper Format
 Abstract: 500 words (maximum).
Full Paper: Up to 6 pages including Graphs, Illustrations, etc
 
 
            Format                
  • Single column with single line spacing in A4 size page.                                           
  • Content of the paper in MS-Word with 12 Font Size (Times New Roman)
  • Title - Bold, Upper-case in 13 Font Size (Times New Roman) followed by the Author's names and affiliations in 10 Font Size (Times New Roman) in Lower-case.
  • Please indicate your paper code on the right top of the paper in Bold Upper-case.       

   

Submission Rules

  • In the mail to be sent, name file should be the title of your paper.
  • Subject of the mail to be sent should follow the format:
    < Paper  – Paper Code - Title>
  • Eg: <Paper - A - Title of your Paper>
  • The name of the document should be The Title of the Paper 
  • Papers only in the prescribed format will be passed to the first level screening
  • An Email will be sent confirming the selection of the paper.
  • All papers should be mailed to excelistepaper@gmail.com on or before last date.
  • The decision of the judges shall be treated as final and binding on all.
  • The organisers reserve the rights to change any or all the above rules as they deem fit.
  • Any change in the rules, if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.
